I am not pushing Marcel Ciolacu to run in order to fail

“I saw that some want to say that they are pushing Marcel Ciolacu to run in order to break his neck. I did not support such a thing, on the contrary! But those who are making themselves useful now, should not have fanned votes to another candidate and kicked their own candidate out of the race. Then the PSD President had to be defended, not now. Now nobody attacks him anymore, I hope, with so-called winning strategies, but which turn out to be bankrupt”, the social democrat posted.

He also makes clarifications related to Crin Antonescu.

“Don’t shoot, Dom Semaca! What a stir, what a commotion! Several volunteers, on orders, came out to fiercely defend the candidate Crin Antonescu and look for enemies around. The problem is that no one is attacking him, only the poor candidate was complaining that no one is paying attention to him. Without arguing with these warriors, I state again: I do not want to destroy any Alliance unit, nor do I support anything else. The discussion was opened by the joint candidate who announced that he was suspending himself. I do not stand in the way of the happiness of being a candidate for the gentleman in question. In fact, as a well-known chronicler of the stupid says, every day: I support him! I was just answering a press question, why I think he was not sought after by those who proposed him and did not continue the support during the holidays. I gave my opinion, saying that it’s my opinion, I’m just waiting for the Alliance to decide whether or not to legitimize this candidacy”, states Dîncu.

He is of the opinion that the discussion is not about Crin Antonescu, but is a discussion about the difficulty of finding a winning candidate who would harmonize the electorates of two parties that contracted and polarized strongly in the presidential campaign: “I appreciated that the Alliance perhaps doing sociological research to see what is the best way to bring the electorates of the two parties together to support a single candidate. In this crisis of confidence it will be seen that it is not simple. If Antonescu is the best solution and the Alliance adopts it, I don’t oppose it because I don’t even have any solution that I consider to be better. I don’t think that the Alliance can afford to bring a candidate without a chance in the conditions of a completely changed configuration compared to the canceled elections in the late autumn of 2024”.

“And for those who maybe don’t know the songs to sing at support parties, I’ll give them an idea. There is a happy song that was sung while jumping from one foot to another: “, Dîncu concludes his post.
