Xiaomi is about to significantly expand its portfolio of electric scooters. The Finnish retailer Sahkopotkulaudat prematurely revealed the specifications and prices of four new models on its website, which should arrive on the market during the spring of this year. In addition to the expected series Electric Scooter 5 we can look forward to completely the new Elite model.
A trio of models Electric Scooter 5, 5 Pro a 5 Max they share several common features – they will all offer a maximum speed of 25 km/h (due to legislation), a range of up to 60 kilometers and a battery with a capacity of 477 Wh. Passengers will appreciate the load capacity of up to 120 kilograms and the tubeless tires measuring 10 x 2.5 inches.
The differences can be found mainly in the performance of engines and suspension. While the basic Electric Scooter 5 has 350W motor and front suspension onlythe Pro and Max models will offer more powerful 400W drive and suspension on both wheelswhich ensures a more comfortable ride even on an uneven surface.
Surprisingly, the cheapest variant will be the Elite model, although the name might say the exact opposite. Although he has to settle for a smaller battery (360 Wh) and a shorter range of 45 kilometers, he maintains a maximum speed of 25 km/h and a load capacity of 120 kilograms. The price for this model should start at 419 euros (about 10,500 CZK without VAT).
The seller charges for the Electric Scooter 5 469 euros (11,700 CZK)Pro version comes on 599 euros (15,000 CZK) and the most equipped Max comes out on 699 euros (17,500 CZK). All four models should go on sale in March or April. However, Xiaomi has not yet officially confirmed this information.
