The Wild Robot, which premiered in September 2024, will be released to be watched at home at last.
According to SF Anytime, the digital sales version of Villi robot will be available on vod services on Monday, January 27. The rental version will follow in February.
The description of the wild robot reads as follows:
“DreamWorks Animation’s epic adventure follows the robot ROZZUM Unit 7134, better known as Rozi. When the robot is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island, he must learn to adapt to the harsh environment and create relationships with the island’s animals. In the end, he becomes the foster parent of an orphan gosling.”
In Muropaket’s evaluation, Villi roboti was praised especially for its visual appearance, and we won’t be surprised at all if the film competes for the Oscar for the best long-form animation of 2024 in March.
