The finalists for the World Car of the Year 2025 award

The race towards the prestigious prize World Car of the Year 2025 (WCOTY) also started this year. The finalists of the six categories, in fact, have been announced and the date of the awards ceremony of the event (this year sponsored by Brembo) has been made official, which will be held on Wednesday 16 April 2025, during the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS ). Here are all the cars in the race.

World Car of the Year 2025: le finaliste

After a selection process that involved 96 journalists international cars from 30 countries, the 10 finalist cars for the title of World Car of the Year 2025 by Brembo (this is the full name), were chosen from among 52 contenders. Among all this year there are 3 electric cars, a sports car, two purebred Germans and the timeless Land Cruiser.

Here is the full list, noting that, again for this year, it is not there no Italian cars to compete for the prestigious award:
