On Friday, the US decision regarding Romania’s inclusion in the Visa Waiver Program at the Government will be officiated

On Friday, from 3:00 p.m., at the Victoria Palace, the official event of the decision of the US authorities regarding the inclusion of Romania in the Visa Waiver Program will be organized. Among other officials, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and Senate President Ilie Bolojan will be present.

According to the programs announced by the Executive and the Senate, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and the President of the Senate, Ilie Bolojan, will participate, on Friday, starting at 3:00 p.m., at the official event of the decision of the US authorities regarding the inclusion of Romania in the Visa Waiver Program, which will take place at Victoria Palace.

The Embassy of Romania in the United States of America announces an event officiating the entry into the Visa Waiver program, which will take place on Friday in Washington. After Romania’s official acceptance into the program, Romanians will be able to travel visa-free to the US. The announcement was made on the Facebook page of the Romanian Embassy in the USA.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emil Hurezeanu, said, about visa-free travel to the USA, that an electronic authorization will be needed in the ESTA system, which will be accommodated, from a technical point of view, by March of this year.
