Panagiotis Gerochristos, it is no coincidence that he represents the promising future of Greek shooting.
At a very young age, he has achieved very important distinctions in the sport, as a result of which he is among the top athletes and worthy ambassadors of our country abroad.

He has been crowned world champion in clay target shooting (skeet) and European champion in the youth category.
He also won the gold medal in the Junior Skeet, at the World Championships held in Lima, Peru, and the bronze medal in the team, together with Ephraim Nikolatonakis and Andreas Despotopoulos.
The Greek champion, last year he was crowned European champion in Osijek, and initially needed a play-off match to pass to the final, completing the qualifier with 117+2 accurate attempts. The final had turned out to be eventful, with malfunctions in the goal launchers and a yellow card (caution) for American Benjamin Joseph Keller, who was the title holder. Gerochristos fought to the end for the gold medal with Keller and finally prevailed with 46-45, to climb to the highest step of the podium.

Today Panagiotis Gerochristos participates in the men’s category and has been called to the National Team.
