HEL.AS.: Handcuffs on a 14-year-old who was walking around with an air gun and a “butterfly” in a park in Marousi

Five arrests were made by police officers of the DIAS group in checks carried out in the last 24 hours in Marousi, Kallithea, Agios Panteleimonas and Omonia. Among those arrested is a 14-year-old boy, who was found in a park in Amarousiou in possession of an air pistol and a butterfly-type knife.

In detail, as announced by EL.AS., on Tuesday night (7/1) a 14-year-old boy was arrested in Marousi in the context of the carjacking, accused of violating the weapons legislation.

More specifically, patrolling police officers of the DI.AS Team located the 14-year-old in a park in the area of ​​Amarousiou and called him for a check, in the context of which they found in his possession an air pistol, a butterfly knife, 440 air pistol bullets and a full face hood . A case file was filed against him by the Amarousi Police Department and it was taken to the competent Prosecutor.

Also, on Tuesday morning (7/1) a 24-year-old man was arrested in Kallithea for violating the National Customs Code.

Specifically, patrolling police officers spotted the 24-year-old man walking on foot in the area of ​​Kallithea and called him for a check, in the context of which he was found to be in possession of 22 packs of tobacco without the required consumption tax tape.

Then, in cooperation with the Kallithea Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of the Directorate of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Attica, an investigation was carried out at the home of the 22-year-old, where an additional 1,033 contraband tobacco products were found. The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor.

At noon on Wednesday (8/1) in the area of ​​Agios Panteleimon, two men aged 19 and 16 were arrested and accused of robbery with accomplice.

According to EL.AS., the defendants, together with another accomplice, had forcibly removed the chain worn around the neck of a 20-year-old man who was at the ISAP Attiki station and tried to escape.

Patrolling police officers who were in an adjacent spot immediately immobilized the two defendants and took them to the Athens Sub-Directorate for Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes, which was taken under preliminary investigation. The arrested were taken to the competent Prosecutor.

He was finally arrested, on Wednesday night (8/1) a 41-year-old man was arrested in the Omonia area, accused of robbery.

In particular, the 41-year-old approached a pedestrian who was moving in the area of ​​Omonia and with the threat of using a knife he took a sum of money from her and ran away.

Police officers from the DIAS Team were called to the scene, as part of a targeted search, they identified the 41-year-old and took him to the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Homicide Crimes, where he was identified as the perpetrator of the above criminal act.

The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
