Reolink Duo 3 WiFi and Atlas Series: New security cameras

CES 2025

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Reolink presented two new security solutions: the Duo 3 WiFi with 16MP resolution and the Altas series, which is intended to enable continuous recording despite battery operation.

Reolink Duo 3 WiFi: Security camera with 16MP and ultra wide angle

At CES 2025, Reolink introduced the Duo 3 WiFi, a security camera that delivers sharp and detailed surveillance images thanks to 16MP UHD resolution. The camera is equipped with two 4K sensors, which means the Duo 3 WiFi can also monitor large areas.

The sensors work together to create a 180° panoramic image without visible transitions. The image stitching technology is intended to minimize annoying distortions. The model is able to precisely detect people, vehicles and animals, according to the manufacturer.

Die Reolink Duo 3 WiFi is available now. The recommended retail price is 189.99 euros.

Altas series: battery monitoring with continuous recording

In addition to the Duo 3 WiFi, Reolink announced new models for the Altas series, which has a special feature: it is said to be the world’s first battery-powered camera series with continuous recording. Despite battery operation, the cameras should be able to film continuously for up to seven days.

The 2K version 2K Atlas in bullet design with WiFi connection and the 4G version Altas Go PT with an all-round field of view of 360° are the first new models in the series. The updated version of the Atlas PT Ultra should also support continuous recording.

For longer operating time, the battery life can be extended using a solar panel, eliminating the need for manual charging. According to Reolink, this solution offers an environmentally friendly and cost-saving way to monitor remote locations.

The Altas cameras are intended to offer a pre-recording function in which images are saved ten seconds before an event is actually detected. In addition, the series relies on Reolink ColorX technology, which is intended to enable colored images day and night thanks to a bright F1.0 aperture and a 1/1.8-inch sensor.
