The Russian evacuation is going very badly: there are piles of unprotected military vehicles in Tartus

According to the latest satellite image published by OSINT analyst Brady Africk – who drew attention to his analyzes mostly by continuously monitoring the Russian defense lines – Russia has still not managed to fully evacuate the Tartus naval base in Syria.

After the fall of the Assad regime, by the end of December, the Russian contingent stationed in the country had completely withdrawn, except for two bases: the Moscow leadership concentrated the troops and equipment in the Tartusz military port and the Hmeimim air base.

From Hmeimim, mainly Antonov cargo planes, while Russian cargo ships from the Tartus base continued to transport the equipment – according to some reports, only as far as Libya, where a new naval base will presumably be built.

The Syrian leadership has given time until February 20 for the complete withdrawal of Russian forces.
