With remarkable progress, Lamborghini reaches a milestone in 2024, confirming its position in the supercar sector.
Lamborghini celebrates an exceptional year with record deliveries of 10,687 vehicles in 2024, marking significant growth in all global markets.
Lamborghini marks a historic year in 2024, recording the delivery of 10,687 vehicles, a figure never reached before. This performance, marked by an increase of 6% compared to the previous year, solidifies its reputation on the global stage. The EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) played a central role in this dynamic, with 4,227 cars delivered, an increase of 6%. The Americas were not left behind, with 3,712 units delivered, an increase of 7%. In Asia-Pacific, including China, deliveries reached 2%. 748 units, reflecting growth of “only” 3%.
Certainly, for the moment, Lamborghini has not detailed its results by model, but we can perfectly imagine that the Lamborghini Urus has driven sales upwards, because we remind you, it is the best-selling model among all models to the bull. Moreover, the success is so resounding for the Urus that in a previous statement, Lamborghini announced that its model was sold out until 2026. In other words, even if you show up at a Lamborghini dealership with your pockets full to immediately obtain this model, this will not be possible. You will have to wait, or buy a vehicle from stock when possible. The Lamborghini Huracan is not to be outdone. Despite the weight of the years, the sports car continues to seduce. The different variants of this model, such as the Sterrato or the Tecnica, remain in production until 2025. They will soon be pushed towards the exit door to make way for their descendant, the Temerario which swapped the V10 for a V8.
What about other models?
The most notable growth was observed with the Revuelto, the superlative supercar equipped with a plug-in hybrid V12. Just like the Urus, this model is quite successful, so much so that the order book is bursting at the seams until 2026. It would therefore seem that the transition between the Aventador and the Revuelto is successful, but the latter has yet to confirm its success over the years. Stephan WinkelmannCEO of Lamborghini, welcomed this year of growth: ”2024 was a year of continued growth for Automobili Lamborghini, in line with the positive trend of recent years: an achievement that reflects the increasingly strong bond we have with our customers and the growing interest in our brand shown by new generations”Winkelmann remarked. “In a period of transformation, we have introduced designs that have earned the seal of approval, reflecting our commitment to always pushing boundaries and expectations while focusing on sustainability. The results highlight the success of the strategic balance between supply and demand, as well as a well-calibrated order portfolio, reinforcing the desirability of the brand and the residual value of our products” he added.
In its press release, the brand explains that 2024 was not only a record year, “but also an important turning point for Lamborghini”. Indeed, in less than two years, the brand has presented three new products. It also became the first sports car brand in the world to offer hybrid models. The manufacturer promises that in 2025 and in the years to come, it will continue to invest in technology “continuing to emphasize innovation as an integral part of the most significant investment campaign in its history”.
“2024 has been an extraordinary year for Automobili Lamborghini, with results that reflect not only the strength of our product portfolio, but also the crucial support of our network of 186 dealerships and the well-established presence of the brand in all 56 international markets where we operate”said Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. “Through the strategy adopted, we have demonstrated that Automobili Lamborghini is not only a leader in the super sports car segment, but also a touchstone for the future of luxury automobiles.”
