(CES @ 2025): LG’s All-New Projector Has a Very Disruptive Design

A standard tactic of a large percentage of companies is to combine several gadgets into one product, and there are many such examples at CES 2025. However, LG’s latest projector, the model PF600Uit is a combination of a projector, a lamp and a Bluetooth speaker. If nothing else, this device could allow you to hide your A/V equipment in plain sight inside a floor lamp when not in use. LG intends to give you the convenience of hiding this gadget in a living space, for example at the end of the sofa or behind a table.

PF600U might not be the most ideal name and maybe LG will come up with something better before launching this product in the market. As a projector, the PF600U delivers image LED FHD (1,920 x 1,080) and brightness of 300 ANSI lumens. It doesn’t produce the clearest picture, but you can stream content up to a surface size of 120 inches.

Again, we should stress that the idea is to save space over producing pristine sound quality.

As for the lamp’s features, there are nine mood-adjustable color LEDs. The top, where all the technology resides, tilts so the ring or lights at the bottom can be projected onto a wall or other surface. And as you might expect, the whole thing is controlled by the webOS. In addition, there are buttons for positioning, switching functions, power and more on the top panel, which is surrounded by the speaker grille.

LG has yet to announce pricing or availability for the PF600U. Those details will likely be forthcoming on launch day.
