Rocio Munoz Morales talks about herself on the pages of Graziawho gives her the cover. Talk about returning to the theater, with the play Janis’s coat of Alain Teulié, of his strength and fragility, of his love for Raoul Bova, with whom he had Luna and Alma, aged 9 and 6. He also reveals his almost maniacal precision. His closet looks like “a serial killer”his words. The 36-year-old actress reveals that she has “manifestations of obsessive compulsive disorder”. He does it without any filter.
She has always been demanding of herself, as was her late father, a fixed point in life that she misses every day. When asked if she is a perfectionist and demanding even within her own four walls, the Spaniard confides: “My closet looks like that of a serial killer: everything organized perfectly for colors, fabrics, clothes are hung on hangers in the same direction and at the same distance. Not to mention my scripts after studying them: obsessively colored, with arrows, drawings and perfect handwriting”.
“I’m a bit obsessed, are manifestations of obsessive compulsive disorder. I tried to overcome it: a few years ago the therapist suggested that I wear my clothes a little haphazardly, that I try not to pay too much attention to it. I tried, but then I was too sick”adds Rocio.
In her family, Munoz Morales had to adapt: “At home, with two little girls, two dogs and a man completely different from me, I have become tolerant. Raoul is the opposite of me, messy and not very attentive: he was pampered too much by the women of his family. He and I are a bit like black and white.”
On Bova, to whom she has been linked for 11 years, she says: “Ours is a love that we never take for granted. Sometimes our work makes us live apart and we often miss each other. Of course, as in all couples, we too have misunderstandings, moments of crisis. But at the base there are common values and there is a deep love with the feeling of being able to make it a little bigger every day.”
Rocio took Italian nationality, in addition to the Spanish one she has by birth, she reveals the reason: “It’s a personal decision, which I haven’t talked about. The truth is that I am proud to be Spanish, but I also feel Italian. I was very young when I arrived here, I was 25 years old and I spent fundamental years of my education in your country. I took Italian nationality not only because I have a man and two Italian daughters, but because I feel infinitely grateful to this country which has welcomed me and given me so much.”
