Baishakhi (24), a mother of a child, committed suicide by hanging herself in Banskhali. The police recovered his dead body from Nezam’s rented house in Bhasani, Kalipur Union of the upazila at around 7:30 this Friday morning.
Deceased Baisakhi Khatun is the wife of MR Mosharraf Hossain, who works in Banshkhali at Incepta, a drug company in Ward No. 2 area of Parbatipur Union of Dinajpur District.
It is known that they got married in the family before 5 to 6 years. The husband and wife used to live together in a rented house in Gunagari due to the fact that M Arr, the inceptor of the pharmaceutical company, was working in Bashkhali.
When Mosharraf Hossain went to Chittagong for the monthly meeting of his company Incepta, his wife Baisakhi Khatun was hanged.
The tenants said that in the morning, they saw a three-year-old boy crying outside the door and called a lot. When they knocked on the door, the door was open and he was hanging by the neck with a ceiling fan. After that, when the news came, people from the surrounding area came and gathered.
On receiving the information, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banskhali Police Station Saiful Islam visited the spot and recovered the mobile phone of the deceased Baisakhi Khatun. The body has been sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
