Remembrancers and lovers of old Czech adventure games will sharpen your senses. The campaign for the new Czech game Posel Smrti: Puto krve, which predates the original three titles Posel Smrti (Black Mirror in English), has just started on Hithit. Although the crowdfunding campaign has only just begun, the developers managed to collect more than half of the required amount of 1.2 million crowns.
The mysterious curse of the Gordon family continues
If you’ve played any of the original Messenger of Death games, you’ll be right at home with the story. For others, the game deals with the dark period of the city of Edinburgh in the 19th century, when the city was marked by many mysterious murders and kidnappings of human bodies.
Messenger of Death: Blood Bond takes place in 1828 and is therefore a prequel to the original story of Messenger of Death. The main character is Joshua Gordona descendant of a more distant branch of the Gordon Houses who devoted much of his life to finding the truth about the curse of his year. When news of the events in Edinburgh reaches Joshua, he sets out on a journey to verify and find out more about his family.
However, due to a coincidence of unfortunate events, the main character ends up in prison, from where he is freed thanks to the influence of the local gray society and money. However, he is wanted by the police, who greatly complicate his search for the truth about his year, in particular Detective Nortonfor which players will even play for some time.

Two playable characters and a storyline with playtime starting at 12 hours
The game will offer two playable characters (Joshua Gordon and Detective Norton) whose fates will be intertwined. If the required amount of 1.2 million crowns can be met, the full version of the game will offer a storyline with game time 12 hours. Players can look forward to a thrilling story, 4K resolution support, graphics similar to the original Messengers of Death, a hand-drawn journal, puzzles, orchestral soundtrack or Czech dubbing.
For the next completed levels, the developers promise more playing time, more branching of the main and secondary storylines, more locations and puzzles, in short, everything that a proper adventure game with a mysterious atmosphere should contain.
