Dreame X50 Ultra can also handle elevated thresholds and steps thanks to its ingenious legs.
At the prestigious CES 2025 fair, which annually presents technological innovations from around the world, this year the hi-tech robotic vacuum cleaner from the Chinese Dreame, whose products are well known in our region, caught the eye. Their new X50 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner model not only impresses with its design and functions, but also brings a revolutionary solution – built-in extendable legs.
These allow the vacuum cleaner to rise above obstacles such as raised door thresholds, steps and the like up to a height of approximately 5 centimeters. However, its improvements definitely do not end there. It also boasts an exceptionally high suction power of up to 20,000 Pa and a lidar that ensures accurate space mapping and can hide under low furniture in the vacuum cleaner.
In addition to vacuuming, the Dreame X50 Ultra also handles mopping, it can refill the water itself in the docking station. It is also charged and discharged in it, and the station can even “wash” its mop disc. The station can also be connected to the external water supply and drainage, so it does not need to be topped up at all. The battery lasts up to 200 minutes on a single charge, and it only takes three hours to recharge. Its legs, made of a durable titanium alloy construction, can handle intensive use and can lift the robot on various surfaces, such as stairs or thick carpets, by more than 5 centimeters.
This model is also equipped with advanced artificial intelligence that can learn from daily use. The robot gradually learns the specific needs of the household and optimizes the cleaning path so that it is as efficient as possible even in rooms with a complicated structure. The price of the Dreame X50 Ultra vacuum cleaner has not yet been officially announced, but it is expected to be around 1,600 euros. It should reach the global market in the second quarter of 2025.
