The Alfa Romeo Junior is already available in the Netherlands with three different powertrains. It is available in 156 hp and 280 hp (Veloce) electric flavors and as a 136 hp mild hybrid. Alfa Romeo now adds the Junior Q4. It also has a mild-hybrid powertrain, but the four in the name is there for a reason. It has four-wheel drive. This gives the Alfa Romeo Junior access to the same drivetrain that Jeep recently brought to the Avenger, and which is called 4xe in that model. The Junior Hybrid Q4 also has a powerful 1.2 three-cylinder petrol engine that is supported by two 28 hp electric motors each. Shifting is done with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. One of the electric motors is incorporated in the machine. The second electric motor is responsible for driving the rear wheels. Dutch prices are not yet available. This also applies to the new Intensa versions, which are also presented in Brussels. Unfortunately, no photos yet, so we have to make do with the announcement that the cars have a different appearance than the other versions with black accents and special wheels. Inside we find Alcantara and gold-colored accents and the Intensa flavor is available on all Alfa Romeo models, namely the Giulia, Stelvio, Tonale and Junior.
