“Extremely Strange Things Happen”

Really bizarre phenomena are happening in the team that was supposed to be the new great force of Romanian football.

A former player from Dinamo Bucharest revealed what he finds strange about that club.

Florin Prunea asks himself a big question mark: “Some things don’t connect at FC Voluntari”

FC Voluntari, currently in the 2nd League, hopes to return to the first division. Ilfoven will not attack the promotion with Florin Marin, but with Mihai Iosif.

Volunteers had to become a real force of Romanian football, but the changes from the second division shocked everyone. Ovidiu Burcă left the team after only three matches, and Florin Marin was his replacement for about a week and a half.

On January 10, FC Voluntari agreed with Mihai Iosifformer coach from Rapid Bucharest. Florin Prunea no longer understands anything that happens at the Ilfov team and said that things “don’t connect”.

“I don’t understand anything about this football anymore! He is kicked out of a third division team and appointed to a second division team with a promotion team. I have nothing against him, on the contrary. Burcă left Voluntari after two wins and a draw.

Extremely strange things have been happening with this team lately. Don’t you think so? Some things don’t connect. He will probably tell Burcă at some point why he left there. Finally, there are still a few stages left in League 2.

Voluntari is fighting for the play-off, the case is not solved. Some things happen at such a high speed (no- at FC Voluntari) that you don’t know what to believe,” said Florin Prunea, DigiSport.

I didn’t go there to be an assistant coach. That was one of the ideas that were presented to me (no Florin Marin being the main coach). I wish them much success in the future”, declared Ovidiu Burcă.
