In the field of SSDs, next to the P510, the cooled iteration of the P310 was introduced, and 64 GB modules, among others, appeared in the memory range.
Crucial, operating under the umbrella of Micron, gave a sign of life with a variety of hardware, and among them was the P510 M.2 2280 SSD, which is produced in 1 and 2 TB versions.
The storage using HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology fed from our system memory instead of the DRAM cache works with a x4 PCI Express 5.0 interface, and a four-channel Phison PS5031-E31T controller directs 276-cell layer 3D TLC NAND flash chips. The speed of sequential reading/writing of the single-sided data storage with black aluminum ribs on its chips can climb up to 11,000/9,550 MB/s, and the warranty period is 5 years.
The other new SSD is actually just an alternative version of an already available model, since it is a 22 x 80 mm, x4 PCI Express 4.0 interface equipped with a P310 cooling fin. The design, which also comes with a capacity of 1 and 2 TB, comes with an HMB Phison PS5027-E27T controller and 232-cell layer 3D QCL NAND flash chips, and we can expect sequential read/write speeds of up to 7100/6000 MB/s. In the set of random disk operations, the ceiling is 1,000,000/1,200,000 IOPS, and depending on the size of the storage space, the goods certified for durability of 220 and 440 TBW also boast a 5-year warranty.
The manufacturer has not been idle in the memory segment either, and its DDR5 Pro Overclocking serial solution, which supports both Intel XMP 3.0/AMD EXPO profiles, is already available in 2 x 32 GB sets, in versions promising an effective clock signal of 6000 and 6400 MHz.
That’s not all, because the metal-ribbed DDR5 Pro Plug-and-Play series RAMs – dictating a speed of 5600 MT/s – will be available with a 64 GB module size or in 2 x 64 GB, i.e. 128 GB packages. The CUDIMM platform, which can dynamically control its operating frequency and voltage, is expanded with 32 and 64 GB options, while the CSODIMM portfolio is enriched with 24 and 32 GB modules at the 6400 MHz level.
The company’s Classic DDR5 product line in UDIMM and SO-DIMM formats is expanded with 64 GB packages validated for an effective clock rate of 5600 MHz, plus the previously announced Micron intended for the HPC environment appeared on the scene MRDIMM-ek (Multiplexed Rank DIMM) are also listed in 32, 64, 96, 128 and 256 GB modules in 8800 MHz/CL 36 or 12800 MHz/CL 52 editions.
