Helena Ahti-Hallberg returned to Finland for work. The man and the dog stayed in Spain. The renovation of the old house purchased from Spain continues there.
– To In Spain, the story continues, i.e. even though I returned home, my beloved and the dog were left wondering what to do with our old man, Helena Ahti-Hallberg says in her update.
– A dog’s most important job is certain sniffing, but Eka’s job is a bit more challenging. There, in the renovation shops, a large part of the accessories needed for the tinkering are behind the locks, they are only sold to construction contractors.
Frustration is natural in that situation.
– You can believe the frustration in the mind of a Finnish professional. Fortunately, little by little and with the help of friends, things are progressing.
Without electricity
Helena Ahti-Hallberg and her spouse Eric Hallberg have been renovating their home in Spain for quite some time now. The house is located in Ontinyenti, right in the heart of the old town. Helena has already stated that the house needs a lot of renovation. At first they lived in an Airbnb apartment, but now they have moved into a house they bought.
Helena said earlier that everything has not gone according to schedule. The lack of electricity has kept the house cool. Helena tells about it in her update on Instagram.
– The lantern on the wall of our house illuminates the road wonderfully. And at the same time gives a false picture of our electricity situation. It will take about 2-3 months before the lamps are lit inside this house, Helena Ahti-Hallberg said in her update on Instagram.
– Fortunately, the water is heated with gas, and with a gas heater, even the bedroom is tolerable. I’ve always been of the opinion that the temperature is a matter of clothing. Put on enough layers of clothes and you’ll be fine.
Snow work in Finland
After returning to Finland, Helena had to marvel at the complete change in weather conditions. Until now, the man has taken care of the snow work, but now Helena has to manage.
– I, on the other hand, in Finland, wonder what to do with all this snow. But I’m spoiled for choice, since my husband has always taken care of the snowmaking.
– But it’s okay here too, luckily there are friends.
It has been cleaned and renovated in Spain. Now the work continues in Finland.
– I now have a busy day because the spring dance classes have started.
– The sewing job causes the greatest stress. Tanssie Tähtiin Show premieres on February 28 on Peacok’s stage and I should make a modest 70 outfits before then. It’s a close relationship with the sewing machine for the coming weeks.
