Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S25 specs are revealed again, minimal changes from the S24 series

We are now saying goodbye to Las Vegas and this year’s CES 205 exhibition leaves us with only positive memories, but life goes on and now we focus again on the upcoming Galaxy S25! Aside from the basic chipset change, there are a few more upgrades coming to the Galaxy S25 series, but one could argue that these should have been done years ago.

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, it gets an ultra-wide 50MP camera – you can get that in a mid-range phone these days. The 200MP main, 50MP 5x periscope and 10MP 3x cameras will remain essentially unchangedthe same goes for the 12MP selfie camera.

One tipster claims the new ultra-wide camera will be four times better than the old one. Also, the Galaxy S25 series will leverage artificial intelligence to improve image quality with color and brightness improving by 43%, all based on algorithms.

Another major change is that the S25 series will get support for video recording, which helps retain more dynamic range. Also, the tipster claims that Samsung has made switching between lenses less flashy. A new Audio Eraser feature will be available to remove noises from your videos.

The S25 Ultra will have 12GB of RAM (at least for the European market) and come with a choice of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of storage. The battery will also be the same with a capacity of 5,000mAh and 45W charging. The speed of wireless charging is unknown, but we don’t expect a major upgrade.

Without changes will come the new Samsung Galaxy S25+ beyond the chipset (if the rumors are to be believed). It will have 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage space, a 6.7” QHD+ flat screen and a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging. Again, the leaks don’t give any details about wireless charging.

Unfortunately, this leak offers no insight into the Galaxy S25 Slim and how it and the S25+ will coexist. Doesn’t Slim remove Plus? We are curious to know.

On the regular Samsung Galaxy S25 – the 6.2″ screen will stay at 1080p+ resolution instead of going up to QHD+. One crucial change is that the small model will have 12GB of RAM instead of 8GB (finally), but the base storage is said to remain the same at 128GB. There will be 256GB and 512GB options. The battery is also the same, 4,000mAh with 25W wired charging (even the A series has 45W now).

In terms of cameras, the S25 and S25+ will use the same hardware as last year – 50MP main, 10MP 3x tele and 12MP ultra-wide. That means a lot is riding on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite ISP and new AI capabilities to make a difference in picture quality.

Finally, here are the dimensions and weight of the Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra compared to their predecessors:
