“We now have three people implanted with Neuralinks, and they all work well,” quotes Musk speaking at an event in Las Vegas Bloomberg.
The previous experiment on implanting a coin-sized chip and more than 1 thousand electrodes into the human brain took place in August 2024. The first is in January 2024.
The company plans to install another 20+ implants during 2025. At the same time, Neuralink did not implement the plan for 2024: it was about implanting eight chips.
Last November, Elon Musk’s Neuralink received permission to implant brain chips in Canada. The company is also in litigation with the US authorities, but this does not stop the billionaire from assuring that in 10 years Neuralink chips will be used by “millions of people.”
