The blasting operation was carried out at the coal mine site in Gümüşler District by Murat Özdoğan (44), the blasting manager of the mine.
Özdoğan, who went to the area where the blasting was carried out, fell under the pile of rock fragments as they slid.
Upon notice, many health, gendarmerie and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
The teams determined that Murat Özdoğan lost his life.
It was reported that Özdoğan’s body would be taken to the hospital morgue after the public prosecutor’s examination.
Orhaneli District Governor Muhammed Furkan Tuna came to the scene and investigated.
