TODAY around 17:00 there was a serious traffic accident near Kruševac involving a tractor and a passenger vehicle. The whole family with two small children was injured, and Vojkan Krstić, head of the Rescue Center of Serbia, took care of their health until the arrival of the emergency services, who helped the children until the emergency doctors provided them with help.
Vojkan said that the children were transferred to the General Hospital in Kruševac and are in good condition. He found himself at the scene of the accident and immediately ran to help the injured, first the children aged three and 10.
Soon, a video appeared on social networks, which is spreading like wildfire. Vojkan told social networks that he always carries a first aid bag with him and that this is his 18th rescue of injured people in traffic accidents.
– All my friends know that I always have my professional first aid bag with me. Once again, this bag kept a child alive until the ambulance arrived. The story has a happy ending, which is that everyone is alive and well – stated Vojkan Krstić on his “Facebook” account.
He said that the scene of the accident was extremely slippery, which made the conditions for assistance extremely difficult. He reacted in a flash because he knows that the first minutes are crucial, and his professionalism and heroism are also evidenced by the videos that are shared on all social networks.
