2025 is a complicated year from an economic, political and social point of view. All the tensions in the economic sphere will be felt in the areas of the economy, and among the hardest hit will be IT professionals. However, according to Marius Opriş, the partner of the training and consulting company Ascendis, specialized employees, those with essential skills for companies and therefore highly sought after, will not have problems in terms of finding a job or in terms of salaries, announces Ziarul Financiar .
“Where I really expect declines is the IT area, but not the specialist area that everyone is fighting over, but the whole plethora of other people in the IT industry. I was actually talking to an entrepreneur who said that the moment of truth has come for the IT industry”
For companies in other fields except IT, 2024 was a very good year. Marius Opriş is of the opinion that fields such as pharmaceuticals have prospered in the past year. Here, more and more entrepreneurs started to appear who develop strongly and quickly, who make money and who can boost the economy.
“2024 was a very good year. An example is the pharmaceutical industry, where a lot of money has been made. This money can be put to work. I have known Romanian entrepreneurs who have 100-200 pharmacies that I have seen leaving a pharmacy. We are looking at the year 2025 with concern, but also with optimism”, said Marius Opriş, Ascendis partner, at ZF Live, a show produced with the support of Orange Business.
