The daughter of a famous Slovenian is a two-time world champion

Dancer, choreographer, sports dance coach and dance judge Matevž Česen For ten years, they have been lining up with many outstanding individuals and the coaching team has been achieving top results. This year they have as many as 14 new world champions in various dance genres.

“This year’s season was again exceptional, as member dancers became champions in almost all categories in show dance, and the success was complemented by youth champions, who are more than ever before, as well as modern, jazz and street dance dancers. I myself recorded the jubilee fiftieth victory in my 15-year career as a choreographer and coach. I am happy and proud to be at the head of this team, which I am proud to lead, and I know that without a team there are no successful individuals. I am grateful to the universe, the dancers and the extraordinary team of colleagues with whom we are co-creating dance history.” the dance teacher told us.

Daughter’s success

His older daughter Taja also enrolled in it, as she won the title of world champion in a small group and in a formation at the recent world championship in Riesa. “Taja is extremely talented and I am very proud of her. Already two years ago, she was the junior European champion. At home, we do not want to cause excessive stress with many competitions, because we all know what is behind all this. I can say with certainty that Taja is one of the best dancers from the new generation,” says Matevž. His younger daughter Tija also follows her diligently, as this year she was in the final of the world championship among children in show dance in a pair. “If they persevere, they have a bright future ahead of them, but I’m not sure they’ll stay in the dance. Time will tell. You will also get support in other things and in other ways. Dancing is certainly not the easiest path,” Matevž knows very well.
