‘National Blind Welfare Society’ provided financial support for Advocate Musharraf’s treatment.

Member of Board of Directors of Bangladesh National Blind Welfare Association Advocate Mosharraf Hossain (Visual Impaired) has been given a grant of fifty thousand rupees by the association for his treatment.

Advocate Taimur Alam Khandkar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the association and Zainal Abedin, Vice Chairman, handed over the donation.

Acting General Secretary of Andha Kalyan Samiti Advocate Masud Rana was also present on the occasion.

The association provides allowances for the treatment and higher education of the visually impaired (blind) along with running eye hospitals in various districts including the capital.

Many visually impaired (blind) have already become lawyers, architects, engineers by taking higher education funded by the association. One of which is advocate Mosharraf Hossain (blind). Who is a member of Bangladesh Supreme Court Lawyers Association.

Providing higher vocational training to the visually impaired is one of the most important projects of this organization from which many blind people have avoided begging and become dependent. Efforts have been made to spread eye care to remote areas of the country.
