Ufe and Mercedes son two sisters who, since they have been together for 20 years, seem more like mother and daughter. Her parents, natives of Tomelloso, moved to Madrid for work and a new life began for them there. Mercedes’ arrival into the world filled Ufe with joy and he always looked forward to returning from work to bathe his little sister: “Even I gave her her name, María de las Mercedes.”

However, life had one blow after another for Mercedes. At only 47 years old sisters lose their father from a ravenous pancreatitis that took him away in five years. After that, when Mercedes was already 16 years old, her boyfriend suffered an accident and he becomes a quadriplegic. Mercedes would spend 10 years visiting her partner in a hospital. This is how he would live until one day, when he was 29 years old, he met another boy at a gym. Mercedes is excited, she starts with him but fate has another blow prepared: “He was diagnosed with cancer and died within a year.”.

In a short time, Mercedes finally finds some luck and falls in love again with a man whom she will marry in just a year and with whom she will have her children. Everything finally seems to be going well in Mercedes’ life after years of misfortune when she discovers, thanks to her eldest son, that her husband and the father of her children is unfaithful to her and decides to leave her.

If there has been a constant in Mercedes’ life and Ufe that’s the one singer Rosario. The daughter of the great Lola Flores has undoubtedly been the favorite artist of Ufe’s little sister and the one who has marked her best and also her worst moments: “She has forced us for years to go to karaoke bars to sing Rosario’s songs ”Ufe explained.
