Subaru is also showing the STI S210 version of the WRX sports sedan at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon.
The WRX STI S210 is based on the Japanese WRX S4 STI Sport R EX model, but comes with improved performance. Its 2.4 liter petrol turbo engine here delivers 296 hp and 375 Nm of torque.
Unlike the six-speed manual transmission of the S209 version, the new S210 has Subaru Performance Transmission, a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
There’s also a revised exhaust system, 19-inch BBS wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, Brembo brakes, electronically controlled shock absorbers, a carbon fiber rear spoiler and black accents, giving it a sportier and more aggressive look.
Inside, there are carbon fiber Recaro seats, red seat belts and plenty of piano black detailing.
Exclusivity is also confirmed by the serial number plate, as only 500 units will be produced. Subaru plans to open orders this spring, but pricing has not yet been announced.
