You mostly only see scenes like the one recorded by a biker from his own perspective in movies, and then put up someone on the internet. The essential part of the sequence that took place in the state of Oregon in the United States is not long, but it is amazingly spectacular. Check it out if you don’t believe me:

Those with good eyes could spot at the beginning of the video that the speedometer shows a value above 120. The unit of measure is not clear, but based on what we saw in the video, we would guess kilometers per hour. Overall, this may be irrelevant, but even the most permissive 120 km/h is twice the 35 mph (56 km/h) in force at the scene of the accident.
In the middle of the massive acceleration, the motorcyclist still had enough presence of mind to consider, then decide in favor of the decision and slide under the high-clearance pickup instead. The thing was not without risk, both the motorcycle and presumably the car were damaged, the motorcyclist probably did not escape with his skin completely intact, but he survived.
