DAPURPACUID – The Pertamina Young Satria Team (SM Pertamina) is ready to compete in the 2025 IBL season, which is scheduled to start this week with a complete squad.
In their first match, the team led by Youbel Sondakh as the head coach of Satria Muda Pertamina, visited Bandung to face Prawira Bandung, last Friday (11/1).

This year, the team has not made many changes, and will still be strengthened by names such as Widyanta Putra Teja, Juan Laurent, Sandi Ibrahim Aziz, Abraham Damar Grahita, Ali Bagir, Julian and Adrien Chalias, Antoni Erga, Karl Patrick and other players. last season Avan Seputra was absent.

Youbel claims that the line-up is a complete and mature composition and many of them have experience.

He said, apart from looking at the physical aspects of facing this season, the skills of each player are also much better prepared, which is a very determining factor.
A sense of optimism for this season also came from senior SM Pertamina player, Avan Seputra. This figure, who was absent from the league last season, believes the team will be much more solid this year.
He believes this is thanks to the support of the composition of foreign players, even though the team squad has not changed much. Even so, they have a lot of flying time regarding the league in Indonesia.
“And we all really understand Coach Youbel’s system and patterns. So adaptation and communication between players as a unit is better. “So, I am very confident that SM Pertamina can perform well this season,” said the player with back number 23.
