The prosecutor ordered the arrest of the police officers who breathalyzed the 45-year-old businessman with the Porsche shortly before he caused a fatal traffic accident in Chania, where 22-year-old Panagiotis Karatzis died.

Friends and teammates of the 22-year-old, who was a football player in local teams and the son of Chania coach Antonis Karatzis, entered the playing field with bowed heads, while the atmosphere in the stands was “heavy”.
Panagiotis Karatzis had played in several local teams, having taken his first football steps at the Souda Academy while still wearing the jerseys of Platanias, Ikaros, Poseidon Tsikalarion, Koumbe, Hefaistos, Titana, while he was also a member of the Mixed teams of Chania.
