CES 2025: ITX Cooler Master minitower with minimalist design

The currently unknown purchase price, variable size product is a version of the Ncore 100 Max optimized for air cooling.

Cooler Master has expanded its portfolio with a compact housing for a floor space, which Ncore 100 Airneck is called, and will find its way to store shelves in the first quarter.

The steel frame of the Mini-ITX construction, which treats adequate ventilation as a cardinal issue, rests on richly perforated – anodized – aluminum panels, which can be easily accessed after removing them without tools, thus simplifying the installation process.

The interesting thing about the 449 mm high, 155 mm wide and 212 mm deep solution is that the depth of the aforementioned frame can be increased to 172 mm, as a result of which the previous volume of 14.7 liters increases to 16.4 liters. A video card with up to 3 slots installed vertically in a separate chamber can grow to a length of 336 mm by default, but thanks to the adjustability of the PCI frame, this value can be pushed up to 356 mm. The machine housing, which can be chosen in black or white/grey, can accommodate a processor cooler with a height of 50 mm in 2-slot GPU mode, and 70 mm in 3-slot expansion mode, and if it has retained the parameters of its relative regarding external storage, it can accommodate a 2.5-inch drive at the bottom.

Regarding the power supply installed in the upper space, we are limited to the SFX format, and a 120 mm slim profile fan (and a riser cable) is included as an accessory for the type with a mesh roof element. The I/O is located on the side of the island, on the sole, and has a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A connectors, and a 3.5 mm combo jack.
