Solutions for Public Sector Norwaythe country’s leading event for innovation and efficiency in public administration, has launched its conference program for 2025.
The event takes place 7.–8. May 2025 on NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrømand will address key challenges that the Norwegian public sector is facing today.
This year’s conference will address key challenges and propose solutions to improve public administration and services, focusing on two central questions:
- Day 1: Can the Lillestrøm project be rolled out throughout Norway, and why hasn’t it already happened?
- Day 2: How can we create procedures that put the Norwegian people first during the grieving process?
The event will include lectures, discussions and panel debates which explores these questions. Leading experts and decision makers will share insights and strategies.

Day 1: Can the Lillestrøm project be rolled out throughout Norway?
The Lillestrøm project has been hailed as a model for efficient and user-centred public service provision. Despite its success, the project has not yet been implemented nationally. This discussion will delve into the barriers—political, logistical and financial—that have prevented wider adoption, and explore concrete strategies to scale the project to benefit all of Norway.
Day 2: How can we put the Norwegian people first during the grieving process?
Grief is one of the most challenging periods for citizens. This session will focus on how we can reshape public procedures to offer empathetic, efficient and user-centred support in this difficult time. The discussion will highlight the importance of simplifying processes and improving coordination between government agencies to better assist grieving individuals and families.
