It turned out which provider we got the best wired internet in 2024 –

The wired internet performance of Digi, Telekom and Vodafone was contested by the French nPerf.

Download and upload speed, latency, browsing performance, streaming quality: these are all aspects that can be used to evaluate the wired internet performance we get for our money from our service provider. nPerf, which collects and analyzes data through its own platform, in order to help consumers make informed decisions and operators to improve their services, measured how Telekom performed in Hungary between January 1 and December 31, 2024, as well as Digi and Vodafone recently merged under the brand name One.

nPerf analysis based on this, Vodafone’s subscribers fared the worst last year, as the service provider was inferior in all competitions, and what’s more, it finished in third place, so the match was actually decided between Telekom and Digi, with very little in favor of the latter. The nPerf barometer is based on 61,715 tests conducted by users in real-world conditions on the nPerf website or through the nPerf app available on Android and iOS.

Telekom collected 136,531 points, achieving a significant improvement of 21.5 percent in the field of upload bit rate. The company’s video streaming score is 88.5%, while the browsing experience it offers is 79.9%. On the other hand, Digi, which scored 140,251 points, leads the competition in the download bitrate (287 Mbps) and latency (14.9 ms) categories. Its browsing experience is 80.1%, which is the best in the country. Vodafone scored only 100,278 points in the field of upload bitrate, showing an improvement of 22.1%. Video streaming performance is 78.5%.
