After the Museo station on Line 1 of the Anm metro, the Stadio Maradona / Mostra dell’Eav station also remains open for the homeless.
The Stadio Maradona / Mostra station of the Ente Autonomo Volturno will remain open for three days to welcome the homeless in view of the cold emergency that has hit Naples. The company made this known through an official note published on its social channels. “In consideration of the wave of frost and the temperatures that will remain cold for the next three days”, reads the note, “lat EAV Stadio Maradona station / Mostrwill welcome the homeless to allow them the right shelter in the coldest hours of the night”.
The night opening, explains the EAV, “will be allowed from 11.00 pm this evening (Monday 13 January) until 5.00 am the following morning and will also continue for the night of Tuesday and Wednesday with the possibility of extension in case of persistence of the cold”. Already yesterday a similar provision was made by the Neapolitan Mobility Company, which had announced the opening, for at least a week, of the “Museo” station of Line 1 of the underground to welcome those who need shelter in these emergency hours due to the severe frost. But it cannot be ruled out that the measure could be extended for other days, given the ongoing wave of frost.
However, the Municipality of Naples has made it known that
Cold in Naples, the “Museo” station of Line 1 of the metro is open for the homeless
