Knight and Day, directed by James “Logan” Mangold, was recently added to Netflix’s film library in Finland. There have been enough viewers.
In Knight and Day (2010) starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, June, who grew up in a small village, runs into a mysterious stranger and believes she has found the man of her dreams. However, she soon discovers that the man is indeed an agent on the run, who drags her into a hot cat-and-mouse chase around the world.
Amid the rain of bullets and sparks, June must decide whether her knight on the white horse is a dangerous traitor or the man of her life.
Made on a budget of around $120 million, Knight and Day grossed just $262 million in theaters. The film has remained, especially in Cruise’s career, a clear intermediate work and overshadowed by bigger hits. However, Netflix subscribers are clearly interested in action comedy, as Knight and Day is now the third most watched movie on the entire service in Finland.
