More and more football documentary series have been appearing on Apple TV+ for some time now. Another such production is scheduled to be released there next month – “Onside: Major League Soccer”. Apple has published its first official trailer.
“Onside: Major League Soccer” will be a sports documentary series about the American soccer league MLS. It will allow viewers to look behind the scenes of the 2024 season, presenting not only events from the field, but also stories from the private lives of athletes. We will also see unique interviews with players, coaches, club managers and other people involved in the operation of MLS. The showrunner of the series is Steve Rankin (including “School of Survival” and “Naked and Afraid”). Producers James Gay-Rees (Oscar winner for “Amy”) and Paul Martin (who previously worked on another sports documentary series with Apple TV+ – “Life on the Wave”) are also involved in the project Apple was taken care of by Box to Box Films.
“Onside: Major League Soccer” will debut on Apple TV+ on February 21.
