The FC Rapid club wishes to inform the supporters, partners and the public about the situation of the player Clinton N’Jie, who could not obtain the necessary visa for the team’s trip to Dubai. The club has made every effort to support the visa process, actively cooperating with the authorities and providing all the requested documents. However, Clinton N’Jie’s requests were rejected for reasons beyond the club’s control. We note that three other players of the team, as well as a member of the staff, obtained the necessary visas without any problems, following the steps taken by the club.”, it is stated on FcRapid.ro.

What’s going on with N’Jie

Despite the undesirable situation that had him in the foreground, Clinton N’Jie stays an important player for Rapid and in the first half of 2025, as club representatives added:

We assure everyone involved that we will continue to provide all necessary support to our player. Clinton N’Jie is an important player for our team and the club will do everything possible to avoid such situations in the future. The player trained during this period with Rapid U17, and will join the first team once he returns to the country”, the statement from Giulești also states.

Since his transfer to the Superliga until now, Clinton N’Jie has assisted Rapid with just one goal in a total of 7 games recorded.
