The knowledge of future hunters in St. Petersburg will be tested by special testing. The corresponding law was adopted by deputies of the city Legislative Assembly.
It is planned that it will be possible to obtain a hunting license only after testing, which will begin on September 1, 2025. It will be held in the Committee on Natural Resources, Environmental Protection and Environmental Safety.
The service will be free.
It is clarified that there will be from 100 to 200 questions for passing the hunting minimum, all of them are federal, St. Petersburg will select from them those suitable for its tickets.
Let us note that in total in St. Petersburg there are about 20 thousand people with hunting tickets. At the same time, hunting is prohibited in the Northern capital, but you can hunt in the neighboring Leningrad and Novgorod regions.
