Great recognition for Dr. Aleksandar Ignjatović Pertini: Crystal Award for Cultural Diplomacy

Dr. Aleksandar Ignjatović Pertini was awarded the prestigious Crystal Award for Cultural Diplomacy through Education at the Tesla Science Foundation conference in New York, in recognition of his commitment to promoting mutual understanding and connecting cultures through education. On that occasion, Dr. Aleksandar Igjatović emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy as a tool for building global trust and a common future.

Awards for young talents

Within the project “New generations as ambassadors of culture and talent”Dr. Ignjatović awarded the prestigious Super Talent Awards to the children who participated from schools all over the world, including Banović Strahinja, Desanka Maksimović, a school from San Diego, Cleveland, Banja Luka and Baltic schools. The program brought together students from elementary schools such as Desanke Maksimović from Belgrade, Banović Strahinja, St. Own from Požarevac, Nikola Tesla from Banja Luka, as well as children from the Serbian Cultural Center in San Diego.

Among the special winners, Lara Karalić from Banja Luka stood out, whose work and creativity in the project caused great praise. Ballerina Sofia Ivanova was also recognized for her exceptional dedication and creativity. Through their works, the participants showed the richness of their local cultures, as well as the importance of preserving natural resources and scientific achievements, with a special focus on the figure and work of Nikola Tesla, whose name the school in Banja Luka bears.

The children and the choir also received prizes St. Own from Cleveland, under the leadership of dr. Nade Martinović, as well as talented students from Philadelphia, Miloš Komazec, Bogdan Komazec, and three other young innovators. Their contribution to culture and innovation was recognized through the award Tesla Science Foundation medalje i Super Talent Award Pertini Innovation Center.

“This project enables young people to recognize the value of cultural heritage and scientific innovations, but also to connect with peers from different parts of the world. It is a great opportunity for young people to become bridges of understanding and cooperation between nations,” said Dr. Aleksandar Ignjatović Pertini, the founder and initiator of the project, who is also the director of innovative projects between Tesla Science Foundation of Serbia i Tesla Science Foundation.

One of the most impressive moments was the presentation of innovations in the development of video games, which was presented by Andrija Ninković from Belgrade and his peer from Philadelphia. This cooperation has shown the potential of young people to create global initiatives in the field of technology and innovation, opening the door for future joint projects.

The goal of the project is to point out the importance of cultural diplomacy through education and innovation, and all participants were deservedly awarded with prestigious awards. Awards were presented to young talents by distinguished guests, including Ashley Redfarn, who emphasized the long-term benefits of such projects:

“Young people are the future of the world, and through projects like this, they actively contribute to building a better, more connected society. They are ambassadors of culture, science and mutual respect,” said Ashley Redfarn.

The project “New generations as ambassadors of culture” it represents only the beginning. Its expansion is planned, so that an even greater number of young people can contribute to the creation of global connections through education, art and innovation, changing the world for the better.
