Netflix experiences the second season of Squid Game another huge success. The streaming service announces that the new episodes have now been viewed 152.5 million times.
This marks the second season of Squid Game the third most watched season ever. Only the first season of Wednesday and the first season of Squid Game were looked at more closely. Wednesday scored 252 million views and the first season of Squid Game even 265 million.
Squid Game 2 best Netflix debut ever
Squid Game 2 managed to break a record. Within four days of its launch, the Korean series already broke records as the best Netflix debut ever. It was viewed 68 million times in those four days.
That number continued to grow in the days that followed. After only eleven days the second season of Squid Game viewed no less than 126.2 million times. More than any Netflix series.
Squid Game 2 still in the Netflix Top 10
The success of the second season of Squid Game still persists. This week, the second season also takes second place in the Netflix Top 10, just behind the new one Missing You.
