From autumn, Office programs will not be supported under Win 10 either

A recent entry from Microsoft according to will not support Microsoft 365 apps on Windows 10 devices starting later this year. The limitation of support for Office programs coincides with the end of the support period for Windows 10 due on October 14, thus driving organizations and customers even more strongly than before to upgrade to Windows 11 if they stick to their well-established productivity software.

After the deadline, users will be notified that they should upgrade to Windows 11 to continue using Microsoft 365 apps. Although support for Office applications running on Windows 10 will end in October, this does not mean that the applications will stop suddenly, they will continue to be usable, but, according to the company, “performance and reliability problems may occur” over time.
