OpenAI today announced a new feature for ChatGPT, called Taskswhich makes the chatbot even more useful in managing daily tasks. Thanks to this new option, you can now use ChatGPT to create personalized reminders and schedule tasks, making it easier to organize your day or follow specific habits.
The function Tasks is currently available in beta for plan subscribers Plus, Pro e Teamsbut OpenAI has confirmed that in the future it will be extended to all users with a ChatGPT account.
With Tasks, ChatGPT can handle both reminders only one what an activity recurringusing natural language to configure notifications. Here are some practical examples of use:
- Personalized Reminders: set an alert for birthdays, appointments or deadlines.

Reminders and tasks can be configured directly in chat or via a new one the dedicated page of tasksaccessible from the profile menu. To activate the function, you must select the model 4o con scheduled taskswhich is currently rolling out gradually to eligible users.
ChatGPT allows you to set reminders using natural language. For example, you can write:
