A serious traffic accident occurred shortly before 6:30 in the afternoon at the junction of Taygetou and Megalo Alexandrou streets, on the south side of Lamia, at one of the most dangerous intersections in the city.
According to the first information, the Ford Focus, which was moving on Taygetou in the direction of KTEL, collided with Honda, which was going up Megalou Alexandrou. The collision was so violent that the Honda rammed the Ford, causing it to spin several times on the roadway before ending up on the guardrail.

The Ford Focus was occupied by two young girls, while the Honda was driven by a man. Fortunately, all three occupants were able to exit the vehicles without serious injury, which is a relief given the severity of the collision.

The traffic police rushed to the scene immediately, in order to investigate the exact circumstances under which the accident occurred.
This intersection has been characterized as a “carnivore” by the residents of the area, as several accidents have occurred in the past, which intensifies the need to take safety measures.
