Psychologically, we understand that the people of Samsung are currently feeling particularly stressed as the official launch of the Galaxy S25 series is coming, but this does not mean that their other promotional activities are cancelled, such as e.g. the new phone exchange program that “Galaxy Trade-In Program”. This is a completely trial run and this program is different from previous offers because you can use your old device even if you don’t buy a new phone. This program is initially available in South Korea and France and is run by Likewize.
Based on the fine print, the eligible devices to participate in the program are: Galaxy S23, S22, S21, S20 series, Z Fold5, Fold4, Fold3, Flip5, Flip4 και Flip3. However, the same fine print warns that this list “may vary by country”.
The program is active and is expected to expand to new markets later this year, although Samsung did not reveal a list of regions.
More details on how this program will work can be found in the relevant Press Release. First, phones are classified into categories: Excellent, Good or Recycle.
