4-day symbolic UN conference begins in Chabi

Chittagong University is a symbol of United Nations Organization under the theme ‘Promoting long-term innovation through youth leadership for inclusive global progress’. (Ciumuna) The symbolic United Nations conference has started with the initiative. 400 students from 50 institutions are participating in this conference for the 9th time with representatives from seven countries. The opening ceremony of this 4-day long event was held at the university’s business administration faculty auditorium yesterday at 2 pm on Wednesday.

The conference was chaired by executive member Sumaiya Tasneem Shimur and the chief guest was Chabi Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr.. Muhammad Yahya Akhtar. Professor of Public Administration Department was the special guest. Ameer Mohammad Nasrullah, President of Banking and Insurance Department. Abu Bakr Siddique, Assistant Professor of Philosophy Department Mohammad Mozammel Haque and Vice Principal of Presidency Education Chittagong. Jasim Uddin.

This year’s conference has 10 committees. In addition, young students divided into 8 committees as representatives of different countries and presented arguments in this conference, Diplomacy will lead to teamwork. Representatives use appropriate innovative thinking to improve society and create opportunities for all, Steps necessary to overcome potential obstacles to long-term economic expansion and growth, Determines timely solutions and discusses future plans.
