Euribor surprised this week with a rise

The European Central Bank has lowered interest rates several times in a row and will probably lower them again, despite this, the Euribor interest rates, which are closely related to the central bank’s interest rates, have instead started to rise since the beginning of January.

The 6-month Euribor, which fell to 2.55% at the beginning of January, has fluctuated between 2.65-2.69% in recent days. The reason must be found in the bond markets.
