Romanians, treated like oligophrenics

Another one sprung from the well of governmental thinking. Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu explained economic issues to people on TikTok using oranges, a car or dissolving vitamins in a glass of water.

“I went to the Ministry of Finance, where I established very clearly that this year’s deficit will be 7%. Look, here I have seven oranges (Ciolacu shows the oranges). Investments this year will also be 7%. What are the investments going to? We continue investing in highways (Ciolacu shows a car), in the defense industry (Ciolacu shows a model of an airplane), in health, here we have vitamin C (dissolve it in a glass of water) and last but not least in education (here show a book’).

A form of communication as simple as possible and as sincere as possible. As much as we will have a deficit this year, Romania will have as many investments, namely 7% of GDP, more precisely 134 billion lei”, said Ciolacu.

134 BILLION lei – that’s how much we’re investing in 2025. It’s the largest amount in history, over 7% of GDP! And no, we’re not throwing money out the window. We are doing exactly what all developed countries have done: investing heavily to grow the economy and raise living standards. #marcelciolacu #psd #romania #emotions #2025
