European Union public procurement in his notice it was announced that the Budapest Transport Company (BKV) rents used buses. The announcement of the results of the related tender was published on Tuesday.
According to the call, BKV rents a total of 11 articulated buses for 10 months. The original tender contained more (10 + 10 solo and articulated) buses. The M3/I. class in relation to vehicles, it was a basic requirement that they be manufactured younger than 2012, but the low-floor design, the air-conditioned passenger compartment, and the existence of an automatic transmission were also basic requirements. The buses to be rented must all have four doors, but it was also an important aspect that they should be powered by diesel engines with at least the Euro VIc emissions standard.
„The public procurement procedure covers the lease of Modulo M168d buses, which, under the scope of the contract, will operate from December mainly on the Rákóczi út axis, such as routes 7, 7E, 108E and 9“, the press department of the BKV informed Vezes.
According to the results announcement, the value of the contract reaches HUF 164,670,000 (including VAT). The buses you want to rent are stored in the BKV Hamzsabégi úti garage. The BKV carries out the replacement of wear and tear parts and the maintenance of the buses, but the complete renovation or replacement of some main parts and minor parts is carried out by the winner, i.e. the selected company.
The winning bidder a H1 Systems Engineering Services Kft. became, which had previously won an order from BKV Railway Vehicle Repair Kft. for him. At that time, the company’s task was to re-foil about 40 Siemens Combino Supra type low-floor electric cars. This meant the replacement of the foil strips above the side window rows, as well as other visual elements. The company previously won an order for the delivery of 10 mammography screening buses (now not from BKV).
