Trans put 68-year-old in freezer after giving her fatal dose of fentanyl – different

A 68-year-old Las Vegas woman was brutally murdered by a homeless transgender man she had hosted in her home, with the gruesome crime revealed when authorities found her body inside a freezer.

More specifically, video shows Las Vegas police officers checking last November at the home of 68-year-old Monique Gilbertson to check on her well-being. Gilbertson had invited Daniel Ross (aka Jazzlyn Ross) to stay at her house temporarily, but she became enraged at the mess and wanted to kick him out.

After a locksmith opened the freezer, one of the officers said, “Yes, there is a person in here.” Gilbertson was found folded inside the freezer and appeared to have been there for some time.

Prosecutors allege that transgender Jazzlyn Ross forced the 68-year-old to consume at least 400 nanograms of fentanyl, causing her death. It is believed that Gilbertson died around October 22, 2024, the day he evicted Ross from her home.

In an SMS, the 68-year-old had written to the transgender, a few days before she was murdered: “Good luck. I can’t live with you anymore, sorry. I helped you a lot more than I thought I would so take it as a gift. You have to find someone else to do it now.”

As reported by People, trans woman Jazlyn Ross, who allegedly lived with the victim, told officers she found her unconscious with drug paraphernalia around her. “I put her in the freezer because I didn’t know what to do,” the transgender woman told police, according to FOX 5.
